經(jīng)，有路徑的含義，經(jīng)脈貫通上下，溝通內(nèi)外，是經(jīng)絡(luò)系統(tǒng)中的主干.經(jīng)脈包括十二經(jīng)脈和奇經(jīng)八脈，以及附屬于十二經(jīng)脈的十二經(jīng)別、十二經(jīng)筋、十二皮部。

The mainly refer to the paths of main trunks which run up and down, interiorly and exteriorly within the body.The meridians include the Twelve Regular Meridians,the Eight Extra Meridians and those subordinate to the Twelve Regular Meridians,the Twelve Divergent Meridians,the Twelve Muscle Regions and the Twelve Cutaneous Regions.
