意為人體上部的重要俞穴。

Meaning

Tian, the upper part; zong, respect.
Tianzong means an important point on the upper part of the body.

定位

當(dāng)肩胛崗下緣與肩胛骨下角連線上，中1/3處。

Location

upper and middle 1/3 of the line between the lower border of the scapular spine and the inferior angle of the scapular.

主治

主要用于肩胛區(qū)局部病痛。

Indication

mainly for pains in the scapular area.

針法

直刺0.5-1寸，形體消瘦者斜刺。

Method

puncture perpendicularly 0.5-1cun. For thin conditions, oblique puncture is reccomended.
